MCQ Based Preliminary Test MPT is a relatively new component of the CSS exam process, designed to serve as an initial filtering stage for potential civil servants. Its primary purpose is to narrow down the applicant pool by assessing candidates' foundational knowledge, cognitive abilities, and overall suitability for the rigorous demands of the main written examination.
Last date to apply for CSS MPT 2025 is 26th August 2024
The CSS MPT consists of 200 multiple-choice questions, each worth one mark. Candidates have 3 hours and 20 minutes to complete the exam. A minimum score of 33% is required to qualify for the CSS examination.
