  • Candidates must have a recognized Master's Degree in Hospital Management or Health Services Management or Business Management or Public Health or Public Administration or any other relevant management qualifications.

  • Candidates having recognized Medical Degree with additional management qualification and experiences are encouraged to apply.

  • Experience: At least 05 years of post-qualification management experience in similar organization or institution (relaxable by the Board of Governors in case of an outstanding candidate).

  • Skills:

  • Excellent soft skills including but not limited to communication, ability to work under stress, team development, and timely compliance of the tasks assigned by the BOG.

  • Excellent time Management skills. Proven leadership and project management skills.

  • Ability to lead an employee's strength compatible with this institution.

  • Main Responsibilities: All non-clinical functions of the hospital.

  • Preparation of annual budget and business plan for presentation to the Management Committee and Board.

  • Maintenance of building and oversight of engineering services.

  • Development and maintenance of ancillary services including but not limited to pharmacy, nursing, materials management, human resources, clerical communications, and security services.

  • To act as Principal Accounting Officer responsible and accountable for maintaining financial discipline and transparency of Ayub Teaching Hospital.

  • Responsible for implementation of Board and Management Committee policies and to achieve targets set by the Board.

  • The Hospital Director reports to the Board of Governors of MTI-ATH and is responsible to the Board. MTI act, rules and regulations, and rules and regulations of MTI-ATH, as amended and updated from time to time, shall apply.

  • General Information:

  • All roles and responsibilities of the position along with the method of selection and appointment shall be strictly in accordance with the MTI act, rules and regulations as well as MTI-ATH rules and regulations as updated and amended from time to time.

  • All the educational documents & experience certificates shall be verified during the process of shortlisting and in case of fake/unverified documents; the candidate will be disqualified and proceeded against as per law.

  • The candidate must be in good standing with his/her employer (attach reference letter from current employer).

  • The Hospital Director shall have no conflict of interest with such a position and the post is non-practicing.

  • The position shall be filled on a contract basis for a period of 05 years, extendable for further 02 terms of 05 years each, upon the discretion of the Board.

  • Candidates working in Government/Semi Government organizations may apply through the proper channel and must provide NOC. In case of selection, the Government servant will have to resign from his/her post.

  • An attractive salary package and benefits based upon the qualification and experience of the appointee will be offered to the selected candidates.

  • Incomplete or late applications shall not be considered. The Scrutiny Committee shall be competent to reject any application that is incomplete or received after the due date. The aggrieved candidate may appeal to the competent authority for review in writing, whose decision shall be considered as final.

  • Only short-listed candidates will be called for an interview. Original documents must be produced during the interview.

  • The Board of Governors reserves the right to cancel the advertisement or the selection process/re-advertise the position.

  • No TA/DA shall be paid.
