Advertisement for the Appointment of Legal Advisor
Municipal Committee Liaqatpur requires a legal advisor to pursue cases filed and to be filed in various courts. Applications in this regard should be received by the Municipal Committee Liaqatpur within 10 days from the date of publication of this advertisement. In addition to this, one attested copy of the application according to the Punjab Local Government (Legal Advisor) Rules 2023 must also be sent to the Honorable Secretary Law and Parliamentary Affairs, Government of Punjab, Lahore. Eligibility |
The applicant must be a law graduate from a recognized university. |

Experience |
Must have at least five years of experience as a High Court Advocate before the last date. A membership certificate from the Punjab Bar Council and attestation from the concerned Bar Association must be attached as proof. |

Period of Appointment |
The period will be two years, which will automatically expire upon completion of the stipulated period. |

Remuneration |
Remuneration will be on a monthly basis of Rs. 25,000/-. Remuneration will not be based on the number of cases pursued. TA/DA will be given according to the prevailing rules. |

Duties |
All cases of the Municipal Committee Liaqatpur which are under trial in various courts will be included. He will be bound to provide all kinds of legal consultation to this office and will also be bound to pursue cases already filed in various courts as well as new cases. |

Procedure |
According to the procedure given in the Punjab Local Government (Legal Advisor) Rules 2003 or other rules which may be framed by the Government of Punjab from time to time in this regard. |
