National Center for Nanoscience & Nanotechnology (NCNN) - A flagship national research initiative established through the Higher Education Commission (HEC) & the Planning Commission, Government of Pakistan, invites applications from highly motivated and qualified candidates for the following PSDP-funded positions in the NCNN Secretariat and its Functional Nanomaterials Laboratory, hosted at Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS).
National Center for Nanoscience & Nanotechnology (NCNN)
- Program Manager (PPS-9)
- Positions: 01
- Requirements: Master’s degree in science or engineering with minimum 2 years' relevant experience in managing Science & Technology related projects OR bachelor’s degree in science & engineering with minimum 3 years' relevant experience.
- Business Development Manager (PPS-8)
- Positions: 01
- Requirements: Management degree with a minimum of 2 years' relevant experience in business development related to Science & Technology. IT experience is preferred.
- Accounts Officer (PPS-7)
- Positions: 01
- Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration with at least 1-year relevant experience. Working knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems is required.
- Monitoring & Evaluation Officer (PPS-7)
- Positions: 01
- Requirements: Master’s degree in science or engineering with 1-year relevant experience OR bachelor’s degree in science & engineering with a minimum of 2 years' relevant experience.
Functional Nanomaterials Lab
- Research Assistant (PPS-6)
- Positions: 04
- Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, nanoscience & nanotechnology, or related disciplines with at least 1-year experience in the use of nanomaterials for electrocatalysis, energy conversion/storage, electrochemical sensing/biosensing, or water treatment.
- Electronic Technician (PPS-6)
- Positions: 01
- Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering with at least 1 year of handling scientific equipment related to characterization of materials.
- PhD Students
- Positions: 04
- Requirements: PhD students already enrolled in relevant program(s) at LUMS.
- MS Students
- Positions: 04
- Requirements: MS students already enrolled in relevant program(s) at LUMS.
