REQUIREMENT FOR LEGAL ADVISOR
Applications are invited from suitable candidates for the post of Legal Advisor in the office of the Administrator District Council, Khanewal, under the Local Government Act 2000 and the Punjab Local Government (Legal Advisors) Rules 2003, as per the following details:

LLB / LLM from a recognized university, enrolled as an Advocate of the High Court, with 3-5 years of experience in civil, criminal, and appellate courts.

- Applications must reach the office of the Administrator District Council Khanewal by 22.12.2025 during office hours. Applications received after the due date and time will not be considered.
- A copy of the application must also be sent to the Honorable Secretary Local Government & Community Development Department Punjab and the Honorable Secretary Law & Parliamentary Affairs Department Punjab.
- The tenure of appointment for the said post will be a maximum of two years. The appointment and other matters will be subject to the approval of the Government of Punjab, Law & Parliamentary Affairs Department, under the Punjab Local Government (Legal Advisors) Rules 2003.
- Scrutiny and interviews of the candidates' documents will be held on 24.12.2025 at 11:00 AM in the office of the Administrator District Council Khanewal. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates appearing for the interview.
- The proposed honorarium/salary will be between Rs. 25,000/- to Rs. 30,000/- per month. The selected advisor will have to submit a performance report to the office of the Administrator District Council Khanewal every two months. In case of unsatisfactory performance, action will be taken for early termination of the appointment.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the judiciary.
- The legal advisor will be responsible for pleading cases related to the District Council Khanewal in all Civil Courts, Sessions Courts, Labor Courts, and the High Court.
