POSITION VACANT FOR GENERAL MANAGER (ENGINEERING)
Pakistan Infrastructure Development Company Limited (PIDCL), Ministry of Housing and Works, Government of Pakistan, is looking to hire a suitable candidate for following senior position, on contractual basis:
Position: General Manager (Engineering), PIDCL
No of Positions: One (01)
Requisite Minimum Qualification: Masters in Civil Engineering (Construction Management/Transportation Engineering/Equivalent) from HEC recognized university.
Requisite Minimum Experience:
a. The candidate must have successfully demonstrated a minimum of 20 years of similar experience of handling large projects in respect of construction management, contract management and senior level overall supervision; preferably in urban area like Karachi; under international standards (Health Safety Environment FIDIC based contracts) and in accordance with PEC guidelines and PPRA laws;
b. The selected candidate is to represent Client side and deal with senior and managerial technical positions in house, national and international consultants hired for projects, manage and monitor contracting firms executing various construction packages in a fast-track construction under timelines.
Age Limit: The ideal candidate, fulfilling all other pre-requisites of the job, may be under the age limit of 65 years, having at-least 20 years of demonstrated experience. HR Committee of BOD PIDCL may relax the age limit for exceptional candidates; otherwise fit for the job; subject to permitting health and fitness.
