JOB OPPORTUNITY

  1. Planning & Development Department (P&DD) of the Government of Sindh focusses on Policy, Planning & development in the Province. The department also deals with foreign aids through Donors / Ministries and processes all development schemes, programs and proposals and make recommendations to the government thereon. The department is also responsible for monitoring the progress and evaluation of development schemes and maintains liaison with the National Planning agencies ministries departments and donors.
  2. Planning & Development Department invites application(s) from the suitable individuals having required qualifications from HEC recognized institutions and Domicile of Sindh Province for the positions mentioned below on contract basis initially for a period of two (02) year, which will be further extendable based on satisfactory performance and need basis for Centralized Data Repository of the department.
01. Director IT (MP Scale-I) 01 Post
Required Qualification / Experience: Ph.D. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or any other relevant field such as Computer Systems, Information Systems, Data Science etc. At least 08 years of working experience in the relevant field either in Private or Public Sector or both.

OR

Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or any other relevant field such as Computer Systems, Information Systems, Data Science etc. At least 12 years experience in the relevant field either in Private or Public Sector or both.
02. Senior Developer (.NET) (MP Scale-III) 01 Post
Required Qualification / Experience: Ph.D. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or any other relevant field such as Computer Systems, Information Systems, Data Science etc. At least 04 years of working experience in the relevant field either in Private or Public Sector or both.

OR

Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or any other relevant field such as Computer Systems, Information Systems, Data Science etc. At least 08 years experience in the relevant field either in Private or Public Sector or both.
03. DATA Basic Administrator (Microsoft SQL Server) (MP Scale-III) 01 Post
Required Qualification / Experience Ph.D. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information, Technology, or any other relevant field such as Computer Systems, Information Systems, data Science etc. At least 04 years of working experience in the relevant field either in Private or Public Sector or both.

OR

Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or any other relevant field such as Computer Systems, Information Systems, Data Science etc. At least 08 years experience in the relevant field either in Private or Public Sector or both.

Requirements:

  • The individuals must have domicile/PRC of the Sindh Province.
  • Maximum age: 60 years (as of closing date).
  • The successful individual will be offered Remuneration/Pay Package as per Sindh Management Position Scales Policy, 2022 vide SGA&CD's Notification No.SOII (SGA&CD)6-32/2021, dated 29.12.2022.
  • Initial contract period will be for two (02) years, extendable subject to satisfactory performance evaluation by the committee.
