VACANCY

The Government of Balochistan, Planning and Development Department invites applications from the dynamic and result-oriented individual for a position of "Project Director" for PSDP funded scheme titled, "TEN BILLION TREES TSUNAMI PROGRAMME PHASE-1 UPSCALING OF GREEN PAK PROGRAMME (WILDLIFE COMPONENT)". The position will be filled purely on contract basis in line with PD's appointment policy. Further details are given as follows:

Job Type	The Project Director will be appointed on a contract basis for an initial period of two (02) years, extendable on a yearly basis subject to satisfactory performance and until completion of the project

Qualification and Experience:

1. Master's degree in forestry with 10 years experience, of which at least 5 years must have been served in BPS-18 or above. Or B.Sc. Degree in Forestry with 15 years' experience, of which at least 5 years must have been served in BPS-18 or above.
2. Essential experience of implementing Public Sector/Donor Assisted Projects of Forestry in some administrative capacity.
3. Working experience of financial rules, procedures of accounts and budgets and administration.
4. Should have good writing skills, data analysis, presentation and report writing.
5. Must have sound knowledge of project planning and implementation processes, particularly the Government of Pakistan's project planning and management procedures. Relevant experience as project director in public sector and working with Forest sector in Balochistan will be an added advantage.

Selection Criteria:

Selection Criteria	The selection will be carried out in accordance with Project Director appointment Policy notified by the Planning & Development Department, Government of Balochistan
Age Limit	Minimum 35 years Maximum 62 years (as of the date of appointment)
