VACANT POSITION
Applications are invited for the post of Chairman, Punjab Board of Technical Education (PBTE), Lahore under the Skills Development and Entrepreneurship Department (SD&ED), Lahore.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
Qualification and Experience:
- PhD in Public Policy/ Public Administration/ Education/English/ Labour Economics/ Project Management/ Educational Leadership and Management/ Business Management/ Management Sciences / ICT with a minimum of 14 years of post-qualification professional experience in TVET-related curriculum, training, or assessment, TVET-related industry in curriculum, training, assessment, or placement; or TVET-related international organizations or with donors.
OR
- 16 Years of Education in Public Policy/ Public Administration/ Education/English/ Labour Economics /Project Management/ Educational Leadership and Management/ Business Management/ Management Sciences or ICT (or equivalent qualifications), with a minimum of 16 years post-qualification experience in education, examination and administration including Boards/Universities.
- The candidate must have excellent communication, negotiation and presentations skill with strong analytic and problem-solving abilities.
- Age: Upto 55 years.
- Tenure: The term of appointment will be purely on contract basis for a period of three years or till the pleasure of Controlling Authority.
- Pay: As admissible to the post of Chairman PBTE (negotiable in case of Candidate having international experience in assessment etc.
- Note: Terms and conditions of appointment shall be settled separately.

The application should be accompanied by the following documents:
- A detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV) clearly highlighting all aspects of eligibility criteria & personal attributes.
- Attested copies of educational certificates / degrees.
- Attested copy of managerial or administrative experience.
- NOC from Competent Authority for Government/Semi-Government servants.
- Certificate that no inquiry proceedings under PEEDA Ac, 2006 or investigation by any agency/ department or trial by any Court of Law is pending against the applicant in case he is in the service of public sector organization.
- Attested copy of Domicile.
- Recent passport size photograph.
OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- The candidates already in Government/Semi-Government service should apply through proper channel.
- The candidate having foreign degree will have to submit the equivalence certificate issued by HEC
- The candidates shall be shortlisted according to eligibility criteria and only the shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.
- The Department reserves the right not to fill/withdraw post or withhold the appointment without assigning any reason
- Candidates holding valid domicile of the Punjab Province are elig ble to apply for the post.
