- In continuation of previous advertisement published in newspapers "The News" dated: 2nd January 2024 and "Roznama Nawa-e-Waqt" dated: 3rd January 2024.

- The Government of Pakistan has received a loan, Credit No.6243-PK from International Development Association (IDA) towards the cost of Punjab Cities Program (PCP), being implemented through the Punjab Municipal Development Fund Company (PMDFC).
- The program is to strengthen the performance of participating urban local governments in urban management and service delivery. Under the program, a Head Office and three Regional Offices are established at Gujranwala, Faisalabad and Khanewal to provide technical support to Municipal Committees.
- PMDFC is seeking the services of following professionals for Punjab Cities Program (PCP):
- General Manager (Engineering) / Deputy Program Director: (01)
- Qualification: BE/ BSc in Civil engineering preferably a higher degree from a recognized university.
- Work Experience/Competences:
- • Minimum 15 years' post qualification experience on donor funded projects.
- • Ten years' experience in similar organizations including five years' experience in Project Management.
- • Knowledge of World Bank procedures will be an added advantage..
- Should be a member of the PEC.
- Maximum age limit is 50 Years.
- Competencies (knowledge, skills and attitude):
- • Thorough knowledge of concepts and practices related to local governments and their municipal infrastructure, construction, and operation & maintenance framework and functioning in relation to her/ his discipline.
- • Knowledge of human and institutional development. Knowledge of organizational structure designing. Knowledge of and excellence in communication. Ability to translate concepts into actions.
- • Ability to write brief but comprehensive reports. Ability to develop plans.
- Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines.
- Ability to motivate team as a high performing team.
- • Ability to take rational but quick decisions.
- Must have ability to listen to and learn from clients and colleagues.
- Should have high self-esteem and internal locus of control.
- Must be outgoing, agreeable, conscientious, and emotionally stable and be open to experience and learning.
- Should have good verbal, numerical, and spatial abilities and inductive reasoning.
- The compensation for the position is market-driven, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
