Position
Essential Requirements:
- Applicants should be no more than 65 years old by the application deadline.
- A Ph.D. degree from an HEC-recognized or UNESCO-listed institution is required.
- Experience in a senior academic, research, or management leadership position is necessary.
- Applicants must have a distinguished record of research and publications.
- A No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the current employer is required before the interview, if applicable.
Terms of Appointment and Salary:
- The Vice Chancellor will be appointed for a four-year term.
- The pay package and allowances are subject to government approval.
Application Process:
- Interested candidates should apply using the prescribed proforma available on the website: http://icid.punjab.gov.pk. Government or semi-government employees should apply through the proper channels.
- The application must include:
- Certified copies of CV/educational certificates/degrees/diplomas.
- Details of certified teaching and administrative experience in the form of an Experience Certificate issued by the Registrar/Admin Office/HR Office. Notifications of postings will not be accepted.
- A list of HEC-recognized research publications, along with certified copies of the first page and index of recognized journals.
- A detailed Curriculum Vitae highlighting all eligibility criteria and personal attributes, starting with SSC/O Level grades and institution names.
- Three recent passport-size photographs.
- Applications, along with supporting documents and a resume, should be addressed to:
Secretary, IC&I Department/Secretary of the Search Committee, PSIC House, 23-Davis Road, Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan.
- Seven extra copies of the filled-in proforma must accompany the main application.
- The application must reach the Industries, Commerce & Investment Department no later than April 7, 2025.
- Shortlisted applicants must appear for an in-person interview, except for candidates currently employed abroad, who may be interviewed via Skype/WhatsApp.
