GENERAL INFORMATION:

1. The position of Secretary to BoG shall be filled on contract basis for a period of three years with performance based extension yearly during the tenure. He may be eligible for re-appointment at the discretion of the Board.
2. The Secretary to the Board is essentially a secretarial function, at the level of administrative assistant and not an executive position. He/She shall be an employee of the Board, who shall perform all secretarial and office functions of the Board at the direction of the Chairperson, and would be responsible for recording minutes of the Board meetings, convening Board meetings, carrying out communication with all Board members, and all other functions as may be prescribed by the Board or the Chairperson.
3. Based on number of candidates, the MTI Nowshera may conduct a written test.

2. The services will be governed under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Medical Teaching Institutions Reforms Act, 2015 (amendment from time to time/Regulations MTI).
3. Incomplete and late submitted applications will not be entertained.
4. Civil servants applying for the post must resign from civil service. If the resign from civil service is not accepted within the probation period, in case of selection, the employment shall stand terminated ib initio. Civil servants on long leave from civil service must not apply.
5. Applicant must not be under inquiry of NAB/ Anti-Corruption/ PIT/ Audit nor his/her appointment/ promotion has been declared unlawful by any of these forums. His appointment must not be under challenge before any judicial forum.
6. No TA/DA will be allowed.
