JOB VACANCIES

Quaid-e-Azam Solar Power (Pvt.) Ltd (QA Solar), wholly owned by the Government of Punjab, has installed the first ever 100 MW Solar PV Plant in the province of Punjab. We require services of professionally sound candidates for the following positions:

1. Assistant Manager Finance
A seasoned professional to support the Finance affairs of the Company.
Responsibilities and Skills

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Assist in preparation of Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheet, and cash flow reports
• Monitor financial performance and highlight variances
• Maintain accurate accounting records and general ledger controls
• Prepare salary of staff, deduct monthly tax and disburse in a timely manner
• Developing detailed financial models for complex projects
• Financial forecasting, accounting, and auditing, preferably experienced in both the private and public sectors.
• Deal with all payments, receipt and disbursement of funds related to company
• Documentation relating to reconciliation of expenditure and receipt
• Ability to maintain and refine solar electricity financial models
• Good leadership and interpersonal skills and strong team player
• Excellent command on SAP, MS Office & financial software

Qualifications: ACA/ACMA/ACCA from HEC recognized reputable University/Institutions with at least 2 years public sector/power sector relevant experience.

2. IT Officer
Person will be providing research and development support to the company in the areas of Information Technology and Telecommunication.
Responsibilities and Skills:

• Support Telecommunications infrastructure using technology, and telecommunications engineering best practices; Transport Control/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), routing protocols, LAN/WAN switching Internet and Intranet systems, and Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) based network management systems.
• Lead design efforts that require in-depth technical knowledge of both wide area and local area communications.
• Knowledge of industry trends in computing and IT platform
• Complete understanding of Intranet/Internet system and technologies.
• Monitors and manages IT Infrastructure for timely resolution of IT complaints and tickets of hardware/software.
• Ensures timely deployment, configuration, maintenance and availability of active LAN/WAN network equipment and environment
• Ensures timely configuration of Wireless equipment.
• Ensures installation, configuration, maintenance and monitoring of user's PCs, laptops and network printers and other IT equipment.
• Knowledge about HTML, CSS, Bootstrap.
• Basic Knowledge of Java Script and PHP.
• Hands on experience on word press, jimdo.

Qualifications: Bachelor degree 4 years (sixteen years education) in Information System Technology, Computer Science from HEC Recognized University, with at least 2 years of relevant experience in public or private sector.
