Manage transportation services, logistics, customs matters, and documentation at site, optimize order cycle, negotiate with various teams, ensure cargo and documentation compliance, monitor driver tracking, meet KPIs, develop transportation policies, collaborate with internal departments, evaluate driver performance, and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Port Load Master
- Karachi
- Bachelor's degree in transportation management, logistics, project management, or similar preferred.
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a logistics/ transportation specialist in a related industry. Knowledge of the port regulations and procedures. Superb leadership and interpersonal skills. Exceptional organizational and time management skills. Self-motivated and shows decision-making skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Willingness to provide operational support outside of business hours. Willingness to travel out-station in case of cargo damage during accidents.
- Oversee safe loading and unloading of cargo from ships, coordinate with ship's crew and stakeholders, ensure regulatory compliance, manage cargo handling equipment, verify quantities, liaise with transport and clearing teams, and coordinate vessel arrival and documentation with trade team.
