• Lecturer of Computer Science (BS-18) (Contract)
  • No. of Posts: 01
  • Age: 21-35
  • Qualification and Experience: MS or M.Phil. (First Division) in Computing or relevant qualification from an institute or a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission. Note: An applicant having third division in academic career shall not be eligible.

• Lecturer of Information Technology (BS-18) (Contract)
  • No. of Posts: 03
  • Age: 21-35
  • Qualification and Experience: MS or M.Phil. (First Division) in Information Technology or relevant qualification from an institute or a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission. Note: An applicant having third division in academic career shall not be eligible.

• Lecturer of Public Health (BS-18) (Contract)
  • No. of Posts: 02
  • Age: 21-35
  • Qualification and Experience: MS or M.Phil. (First Class) in Public Health or equivalent qualification awarded after 18 years of education from an institute or a university recognized by Higher Education Commission. Note: An applicant having third division in academic career shall not be eligible. However, such applicant having Ph.D. in the relevant field and fulfill other criteria as per higher education sector definitions shall be eligible for the post.

• Clinical Psychologist (BS-17) (Regular or Contract)
  • No. of Posts: 01
  • Age: 21-35
  • Qualification and Experience:
    • MS (second division) in Clinical Psychology or equivalent qualification from an institute or university recognized by the Higher Education Commission. OR
    • MA or M.Sc. or BS (second division) in Psychology or equivalent qualification from an institute or university recognized by the Higher Education Commission; AND Advanced Diploma in Clinical Psychology from an institute or a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission and 02 years post-qualification relevant experience.

• Hostel Warden (BS-14) (Regular or Contract) (Female only)
  • No. of Posts: 02
  • Age: 30-45
  • Qualification and Experience:
    • MA or M.Sc. or BS (second division) or equivalent qualification from an institute or a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission; AND 03 years post-qualification relevant experience. OR
    • Graduation (second division) or equivalent qualification from an institute or a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission; AND 05 years post-qualification relevant experience.

Important Instructions and Terms & Conditions

• The candidates are advised to apply online by visiting the website ie. www.wum.edu.pk after reading all terms and conditions (applications other than online shall not be accepted by the University). The candidates against each teaching posts shall be domiciled in Punjab.

• Submit separate application and separate processing fee, in case of applying for more than one post.

• The responsibility of correctness of the data given in the on-line application will rest absolutely on the candidate.

• Last date to apply ONLINE is 24-08-2023 and to submit the applications (in hard form) along with attested copies of all documents for all posts to the Office of the Registrar, The Women University (MatiTal Campus), LMQ Road, Multan is 25-08-2023 during office hours. Incomplete and applications received after due date shall not be entertained.

• The fee amounting to Rs. 3000/- (for BS-20), Rs. 1500/- (for BS-17 to 19) and Rs. 500/- (for BS-14) is to be deposited through system generated challan for each application form and original receipt must be provided along with hard copy of application form.

• No Bank Draft or Pay Order or Cheque will be accepted as fee by the University.

• In case the Candidate is serving in Government/Semi-Government Department/Autonomous Body, a Departmental Permission Certificate/NOC issued by the Competent Authority of the concerned Department is required to be produced along with hard copy of application form. However, advance copy is acceptable.

• Dismissed/terminated from the service or penalized contrary to the service by any of the University/Government department /Autonomous body & Semi-Government are not eligible for any of the above posts.

• In case any information provided by the Candidate in his/her application form is found to be incorrect or false at any stage, he/she will be disqualified and action will be taken under the Rules.

• Only short-listed candidates will be called for interview/test and no TA/DA will be admissible for this purpose.

• All these appointments shall be governed under The Women University Multan Employees (Appointment, Terms and Conditions of Service) Statutes 2021 as amended or altered from time to time.

• The University reserves the rights to increase/decrease the number of posts or cancel any post or withhold appointment against any post without assigning any reason.

• Age relaxation shall be admissible as per policy of the Government of the Punjab.
