Applications are invited for the following positions on a Regular/Contract Basis from Punjab Domicile holders at the University of Home Economics Lahore.

Job Positions & Eligibility Criteria

1. Registrar (BS-20) – Contract (03 years)

• No. of Posts: 01

• Age Limit: 40 to 50 years

• Eligibility Criteria (Option 1): PhD in any discipline from an HEC-recognized institution with 8 years of post-qualification teaching or administrative/professional experience in a public or private university or public sector organization.

• Eligibility Criteria (Option 2): MS or M.Phil. (second division) in any discipline from an HEC-recognized institution with 10 years of post-qualification teaching or administrative/professional experience in a public or private university or public sector organization.

• Eligibility Criteria (Option 3): Master’s degree or BS (second division) in any discipline from an HEC-recognized institution with 12 years of post-qualification teaching or administrative/professional experience in a public or private university or public sector organization.

2. Chief Engineer (Civil) (BS-20)

• No. of Posts: 01

• Age Limit: 40 to 50 years

• Eligibility Criteria: B.Sc. (second division) in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification from an HEC-recognized institution. Registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) as a Civil Engineer. Requires 17 years of experience in the relevant field, with at least 5 years of experience related to management.

3. Director (Information Technology Services) (BS-20)

• No. of Posts: 01

• Age Limit: 40 to 50 years

• Eligibility Criteria (Option 1): PhD in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Telecommunication System from an HEC-recognized institution with 8 years of post-qualification relevant experience.

• Eligibility Criteria (Option 2): MS or M.Phil. (second division) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Telecommunication System from an HEC-recognized institution with 10 years of post-qualification relevant experience.

• Eligibility Criteria (Option 3): Master’s degree or BS (second division) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Telecommunication System from an HEC-recognized institution with 12 years of post-qualification relevant experience.

4. Additional Registrar (BS-19)

• No. of Posts: 01

• Age Limit: 35 to 50 years

• Eligibility Criteria (Option 1): MS or M.Phil. (second division) in any discipline from an HEC-recognized institution with 8 years of post-qualification teaching, administrative, or professional experience in a public or private university or HEC/public sector organization.

• Eligibility Criteria (Option 2): Master’s degree or BS (second division) in any discipline from an HEC-recognized institution with 10 years of post-qualification teaching, administrative, or professional experience in a public or private university or HEC/public sector organization.

5. Project Director (BS-19)

• No. of Posts: 01

• Age Limit: 35 to 50 years

• Eligibility Criteria: B.Sc. (second division) in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification from an HEC-recognized institution. Registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC). Requires 12 years of post-qualification relevant experience, of which 4 years must be in a senior position.

6. Deputy Registrar (BS-18)

• No. of Posts: 02

• Age Limit: 25 to 45 years

• Eligibility Criteria (Option 1): MS or M.Phil. (second division) in any discipline from an HEC-recognized institution with 3 years of post-qualification teaching or administrative experience in a public or private institute, HEC, or public sector organization.

• Eligibility Criteria (Option 2): Master’s degree or BS (second division) in any discipline from an HEC-recognized institution with 5 years of post-qualification teaching or administrative experience in a public or private institute, HEC, or public sector organization.

7. Assistant Registrar (BS-17)

• No. of Posts: 02

• Age Limit: 21 to 35 years

• Eligibility Criteria: M.A, M.Sc, LLB, MBA, M.Com, MCS, MIT, ACMA, ACCA, or BS (second division) from an HEC-recognized institution.

8. Medical Officer (Female) (BS-17)

• No. of Posts: 01

• Age Limit: 21 to 35 years

• Eligibility Criteria: MBBS from an HEC-recognized institution. Registered with the Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC), with one year of house job experience.

9. Security Officer (BS-17)

• No. of Posts: 01

• Age Limit: 35 to 55 years

• Eligibility Criteria (Option 1): Bachelor's degree (second division) from an HEC-recognized institution with 5 years of experience in the security field.

• Eligibility Criteria (Option 2): Retired commissioned officer or equivalent rank from the Armed Forces, not retired on medical or disciplinary grounds, and whose retirement has not exceeded two years.

10. Nurse (BS-16)

• No. of Posts: 01

• Age Limit: 21 to 35 years

• Eligibility Criteria: BS Nursing (second division) or three years diploma in nursing from an HEC-recognized institution or Pakistan Nursing Council.

11. Cameraman (BS-12)

• No. of Posts: 02

• Age Limit: 21 to 35 years

• Eligibility Criteria: Higher Secondary School Certificate (second division) from a recognized board, with 5 years of post-qualification experience in photography and video recording.

Instructions for Applicants

• Candidates must submit applications by 03-08-2026 on the prescribed Job Application Form available on the official website: https://uhe.edu.pk.

• Submit applications along with the original Challan Form, attested copies of degrees, certificates, testimonials, experience certificates, CNIC, and two passport-size photographs via registered mail or courier service to the Office of the Registrar (HR Branch), University of Home Economics Lahore.

• The application processing fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. Applications without processing fees will not be entertained.

Application Processing Fees:

• BS-12: Rs. 1,000 per application

• BS-16 to 17: Rs. 1,500 per application

• BS-18: Rs. 2,000 per application

• BS-19: Rs. 2,500 per application

• BS-20: Rs. 3,000 per application

• Address all applications to: The Registrar, University of Home Economics Lahore. By-hand submission is not allowed. Candidates must clearly mention the post applied for on the top-right corner of the envelope.

• Applicants applying for more than one post must submit separate application forms and envelopes with separate paid processing fee challans.

• Government, semi-government, or autonomous body employees must submit a proper NOC from their department by the due date; otherwise, their application will not be considered.

• Only short-listed candidates will be called for an interview. No TA/DA is admissible.

• General age relaxation rules of the Punjab Government apply (except for the post of Registrar). Quotas for disabled persons and minorities are reserved as per government policy.

• The University reserves the right to increase, decrease, cancel, or modify any post or appointment without assigning any reason.

• Incomplete applications or applications received after the due date will not be considered. The responsibility of providing correct documents lies solely with the applicant.
