General:
- Candidates for the posts of Professors are required to submit five (05) hard copy sets and a soft PDF copy in USB bearing attested all documents including copies of degrees, results cards, transcripts, certificates and research work/publication. Foreign degree holders are required to submit equivalence certificate from HEC. In case, degree has not been issued, a certificate to that effect singed by the Controller of Examination might be accepted, in all cases.
- Statement of experience must be supported by certificates from the employers.
- All documents degree, transcript, reckoner table, conversion table must be attached. Otherwise application will not be entertained.
- Application forms can be downloaded from University of Sahiwal website
- Candidates applying for more than one post shall submit separate application forms with necessary documents, complete in all aspects.
- Applications must be accompanied with bank draft (non-refundable) or postal order of Rs.5,000/- in favour of "University of Sahiwal".
- Bank Challan of the respective amounts mentioned above can also be deposited in the University of Sahiwal, HBL (Farid Town Branch Sahiwal) A/C#1672-79012994-52 for the purpose.
- A most recent passport size photograph should be affixed on the application form.
- Candidates already in service of a Government/ Semi-Government Department or an Autonomous Body must apply through proper channel within due date, otherwise their application will not be entertained.
- The contract will be initially for one year and extendible on satisfactory performance, only for fresh candidates.
- Applications received after the last date will not be entertained, even though posted before the last date.
- Incomplete or unsigned applications shall not be entertained.
- Applications must be sent to the Office of the Registrar, University of Sahiwal by hand or by courier service.
- Last date for submission of the applications for all posts is 12-12-2025 during the office hours.
- The appointment (s) shall take part in the Defined Contribution Pension Scheme (DCPS) under sections 12, 18 read with section 18-A of the Punjab Civil Servant Act and the manner prescribed by the Finance Department from time to time, and bearing letter NO.SOR-IV(S&GD)10-19/2024 dated 18-07-2024.
- The NOC from the competent/relevant authority must be for fresh candidates submitted with the applications. Advance copy of NOC will not be accepted.
- Any concealment of facts or the information in application will result in cancelation of the application.

NOTE:
- 3% quota will be reserved for disabled persons, if the candidate is disable, he/she will have to submit a certificate from the Provincial Council for Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons of Social Welfare Department.
- All other quotas are reserved as per notifications of the Govt. of Punjab.
- Short listing of the candidates shall be made in accordance with the approved procedure laid down by the University. The applications/dossiers will be evaluated by foreign approved experts of relevant field.
- Number of posts can be increased/decreased according to the need of the University and available number of posts in budget.
- The nature of posts can be changed according to the need/ requirement of the University.
- The University reserves the right not to fill/withdraw any advertised post/withheld the appointment against any post without assigning any reason.
- The University is not responsible if call letters are not received due to any lapse of Courier Agency/Post Office/Telephonic Message.
