DEAN, FACULTY OF PHARMACY & PHARMACEUTICAL SCIENCES
The Dean will provide academic leadership for the Faculty of Pharmacy and promote excellence in teaching, research, and professional training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Academic leadership and strategic development of the Faculty; Promotion of research, innovation, and scholarly publications; Faculty development, mentoring, and academic quality assurance; Strengthening industry, regulatory, and professional linkages; Oversight of curriculum development, accreditation, and academic standards.
Qualification & Experience:
- Candidates must meet HEC criteria for appointment as a full Professor in Pharmacy or a relevant discipline.
REGISTRAR
The Registrar serves as the University's main administrative officer, overseeing academic administration and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Custodian of university records, statutes, regulations, and proceedings of statutory bodies; coordination of meetings of the Governing Body, Academic Council, and other statutory committees; oversight of academic administration, including admissions and student records; ensuring compliance with HEC policies, accreditation requirements, and university regulations; supervision of administrative offices and coordination among academic and administrative units.
Qualification & Experience:
- Master's degree from an HEC-recognized institution with at least 10 years of relevant administrative experience, preferably at a university or a reputed organization with similar functions.
ADDITIONAL REGISTRAR (SUKKUR CAMPUS)
The Additional Registrar will support campus governance and ensure smooth academic and administrative operations at the Sukkur Campus in coordination with the senior management. Key responsibilities are similar to those of the Registrar.
Qualification & Experience:
- Master's degree from an HEC recognized institution with a minimum of 10 years of relevant administrative experience.
DIRECTOR - STUDENT AFFAIRS
The Director of Student Affairs will lead initiatives to enhance student engagement, welfare, and campus life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Development and management of student support services and counseling programs; Promotion of student clubs, societies, leadership, and extracurricular activities; Implementation of policies related to student discipline, welfare, and engagement; Organization of co-curricular programs and campus events; Strengthening student-university communication and grievance redress mechanisms.
Qualification & Experience:
- Master's degree from an HEC-recognized institution with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in student services within higher education.
DIRECTOR - OFFICE OF RESEARCH, INNOVATION & COMMERCIALIZATION (ORIC)
The Director of ORIC will lead the university's research management and innovation ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promoting a research culture and supporting faculty research initiatives; Developing research collaborations with domestic and international institutions; Managing research grants, intellectual property, and commercialization efforts; Enhancing industry-academia partnerships and innovation activities; Ensuring adherence to HEC ORIC policies and research governance standards.
Qualification & Experience:
- Master's degree from an HEC-recognized institution with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in research management, academia, or industry collaboration.
ADDITIONAL DIRECTOR - QUALITY ENHANCEMENT CELL (QEC)
The Additional Director will support the QEC in promoting and maintaining high standards of academic quality, institutional performance, and compliance with accreditation requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee quality assurance and enhancement processes across academic programs; support institutional performance reporting and program reviews; assist departments in meeting accreditation and quality standards; coordinate audits, follow-ups, and improvement initiatives; support preparation of reports and documentation for accreditation and rankings; collaborate with stakeholders to ensure continuous quality improvement.
Qualification & Experience:
- Candidates must hold a Master's degree in a relevant field, with a minimum of 8 years' experience in quality management and quality assurance.
