Muhammad Nawaz Shareef University of Agriculture, Multan (MNSUAM) is one of the newly established universities in Pakistan and was officially launched in 2013. Approved by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan for its degree programs, MNSUAM aims for being a center of excellence in teaching and research in agriculture and allied sciences. The university is firmly geared to diversity integration as well as social responsibility which are all conducted in a lively academic environment that is dedicated to excellence.
MNSUAM has more than 60 undergraduate and postgraduate programs on offer, and the university is continuously expanding and developing more plans. These programs offer a variety of concentrations within agriculture hence, they can major in agribusiness, horticulture, soils, and animals among others. The university is well staffed with highly qualified tutors, which many are post graduate, and most of them obtained their education from some of the broad recognized universities in the world. This has supplemented a firsthand research culture in the institution as revealed by the university’s stringed publication record of more than three hundred research publications every year with an average of three publications for every staff in the faculty.

It is worth to note that the university actively enrolls students, and there are specific requirements set for each degree program. MNSUAM has scholarships and/or financial aid (details pending confirmation from this university) for needy and deserving learners. The admission to most schools is easy, while the Directorate of Student Affairs offers general direction on matter such as course choice, registration and student fees.
Hence, MNSUAM is aware that its graduates need a proper pathway that will enable them to secure a nice job without straining much. It has established good industrial relationship with most of the leading public and private companies such as Syngenta, Engro and FFC. During job fairs and internships, the students acquire ‘real life’ experiences and also find likely employers in the process. Notably, around 70% of the undergraduate students find paid internships with companies in their final semester.
The Employer Relations Office and other departments of the universities indeed help the graduates in finding a job. Also, there is the university Business Incubation Center, which supports student entrepreneurial inclined activities. The BIC is also tasked with offering assistance to enable the students to successfully set up their start-ups. More than 15 innovative startups has been provided by the BIC hence having a culture of incubating the social startups.
MNSUAM is the program offering the combination of theoretical knowledge, professional practice and the core values of social justice. The latest infrastructure, built for the campus includes a well equipped computerized central laboratory, official research farm, and solar panel energy farm. Concentrated efforts in support services are accorded in the form of Directorate of Student Affairs and Students’ Hostels among others towards the realization of the students’ goals.
