Bachelor'/Master's degree (or equivalent) in Economics, Business Administration, Law, or Finance from a HEC-recognized institution. Age Limit: 32 Years

The candidate should preferably have sound knowledge of Competition Law, along with a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and cartel investigations. He/she should possess the ability to assist in the initiation, planning, and execution of investigations into suspected cartel activities, collusive practices, and abuse of dominance. The candidate must be capable of interpreting and applying competition law provisions in conjunction with economic principles to evaluate market behavior and business practices. The candidate will also be expected to prepare investigation reports, legal briefs, and recommendations for action by the Commission.

Assistant Director (Legal/ Adjudication)

The candidate must have experience in drafting, reviewing, and vetting contracts, MoUs, agreements, and other legal documents. He/She should be proficient in preparing legal documents, including complaints, legal opinions, and regulatory filings, and conducting thorough legal research and analysis on statutes, case laws, and relevant legal precedents. The candidate must have the ability to liaise effectively with internal departments, external counsel, regulatory bodies, and government agencies on complex legal matters. The candidate should be capable of assisting in the interpretation and implementation of relevant laws and regulations, and representing the Commission in legal proceedings, hearings, and negotiations with stakeholders.

The candidate must have a thorough understanding of Competition Law and related regulations, along with the ability to analyze exemption requests and conduct assessments. They should be capable of maintaining and updating office records, case documentation, and evidence gathered from various sources and mediums. A solid grasp of regulatory frameworks, particularly concerning exemptions, is essential. Candidates with experience in regulatory bodies will be given preference.

The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of competition laws and economic principles, coupled with strong analytical capabilities and effective communication skills. He/she should demonstrate a keen interest in regulatory compliance and possess the ability to interpret and apply complex legal and economic concepts. The candidate should also be capable of analyzing market dynamics and assessing potential anti-competitive behavior. Preference will be given to candidates with relevant experience.
