position
- Junior Management Positions - Legal
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle and monitor litigation cases before courts/forums through external counsel, review pleadings before filing, maintain case status, and follow up with external lawyers.
- Vet agreements, MOUs, addendums, and other legal documents and provide legal opinions.
- Provide legal advisory services and assistance to departments on legal issues, reviewing inquiry reports, charge sheets, show cause notices, and court orders.
- Review contracts, agreements, letters, and proposals for compliance with laws and regulations, and identify potential legal issues.
- Stay updated on legal and statutory developments relevant to the company's business and advise supervisors accordingly.
Education:
- Law Degree from an HEC-recognized Law School/University.
- Solicitor, Bar-at-Law, or LLM is an advantage.
Experience:
- 4 years of professional experience with 1-2 years in a junior management position.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently.
- Strong interpretation and drafting skills.
- Excellent presentation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Females are encouraged to apply.
Age:
- Preferably not more than 33 years old as of the application deadline.
Middle Management Positions - Legal
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal support on matters required by management and various company functions, including:
- Corporate governance and compliance matters.
- Representations before regulatory authorities and forums.
- Contract drafting and negotiation (sale and purchase agreements, NDAs, SLAs, bank guarantees, etc.).
- Disputes (arbitration and litigation).
- Financing agreements.
- Structure, draft, and review reports and other legal documents.
- Provide legal advice and solutions on commercial law, civil law, labor law, PPRA, company law, and intellectual property law matters.
- Liaise with business units to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Handle/monitor corporate litigation, review pleadings, maintain records of court cases, follow up with external lawyers, and negotiate professional fees.
- Review and draft contracts, agreements, letters, and proposals to ensure compliance and highlight potential legal issues.
Education:
- Law Degree from an HEC-recognized Law School/University.
- Solicitor, Bar-at-Law, or LLM is an advantage.
Experience:
- 6-8 years of overall experience, preferably in a large national/multinational organization.
- 3-6 years of related functional experience in a similar role at a senior or equivalent position.
Requirements:
- Ability to work independently with excellent interpretation and drafting skills.
- Excellent presentation, problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
