INSTRUCTIONS:

- All qualifications should only be from well-reputed universities/institutions recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan and Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) / National Computing Education Accreditation Council (NCEAC), as applicable.
- In case of foreign qualifications / degrees / certificates, submission of equivalence certificates from HEC and Inter Boards Coordination Commission (IBCC) is mandatory.
- Only one second class/division in the entire academic career from matric onwards is allowed for the post.
- The post is Islamabad-based. Interviews will be conducted at IST, Islamabad only.
- The age will be calculated on the closing date of applications. Ex-Govt. employees / Ex-armed forces personnel, who fulfill the eligibility criteria prescribed for the post, may be granted age relaxation as per Govt. rules.
- Armed Forces officers / personnel, Government employees, and employees of Autonomous Organizations / Institutions, who are on Leave Preparatory to Retirement (LPR), are not eligible to apply for the post.
- Ex-armed forces officers / personnel should submit attested photocopies of their release / retirement order and Last Pay Certificate (LPC) duly verified from the concerned authority along with their application forms.
- Ex-armed forces officers / personnel should also submit a photocopy of NOC (mandatory) from General HQs / Air HQs / Naval HQs, as applicable, for re-employment on the post.
- Retired Govt. employees / Retired employees of Autonomous Organizations / Institutions should submit attested photocopies of their release / retirement order and Last Pay Certificate (LPC) duly verified from the concerned authority along with their application forms.
- NOC from the current employer for applying for the advertised post is mandatory.
- Serving Regular Employees of Govt. / Semi Govt. / Autonomous Organizations / Institutions will not be appointed on deputation / Extra Ordinary Leave (EOL). In case of selection for appointment to the post, the applicant will be required to tender resignation from regular service.
- Compliance with eligibility criteria for the post does not guarantee shortlisting for an interview.
- If a large number of applications are received for the post, then only the best suitable candidates would be called for an interview.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
- TA/DA will not be admissible for appearing in the interview.
- IST reserves the right to reject any or all of the applications received for the post without assigning any reason thereof.
- IST reserves the right to postpone or cancel the recruitment/induction on the post at any stage without assigning any reason thereof.
- IST reserves the right to add/reduce the number of the post at any stage without assigning any reason thereof.
- The decision of the Institute in all matters regarding recruitment/induction on the post would be final and binding, and no correspondence in this regard would be entertained.
