Eligibility Criteria
- Education: A law degree from a recognized university.
- Experience: At least two years of active legal practice as an enrolled Advocate. During this time, the applicant must not have engaged in any other full-time business or occupation.
- Age Limit: Between 21 and 35 years old as of the application deadline.
Quota
- 50% Merit and 50% Islamabad Capital Territory domicile.
- 10% seats reserved for women.
- 2% seats reserved for persons with disabilities.
Examination & Conditions
- Format: Written exams on Law and other subjects. Law papers are 25% Objective and 75% Subjective. The General Knowledge paper is 100% MCQs.
- Passing Marks: At least 40% in each paper and 375 in aggregate. The interview/viva voce is 100 marks (30% passing mark required).
- Medical Fitness: Applicants must be in good mental and physical health.
Fees & Application
- Fee: A non-refundable fee of Rs. 5,000/- must be deposited via Bank Challan at the National Bank of Pakistan. Online mobile banking transfers are not accepted.
- How to Apply: Applications must be submitted online only via jobs.ihc.gov.pk. Hand-delivered or posted applications will not be accepted.
