SITUATION VACANT: CHIEF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY OFFICER (CITO)
The Karachi Water & Sewerage Corporation (KW&SC) is seeking a dynamic and committed Chief Information Technology Officer to lead the Corporation’s digital transformation agenda.
Key Responsibilities:
- Digital Transformation: Lead the development and implementation of the Corporation’s Digital Transformation Strategy.
- Enterprise Applications: Manage enterprise-wide systems including ERP, HRMS, Finance, GIS, and SCADA integration.
- Cybersecurity: Develop an enterprise cybersecurity framework (ISO 27001 compliance).
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee IT infrastructure, data centers, cloud services, and disaster recovery.
- Data Governance: Establish frameworks for data architecture, business intelligence, and AI-enabled analytics.
- Smart Utility Initiatives: Lead implementation of smart metering, IoT sensors, and remote monitoring.
- Project & IT Governance: Manage IT projects, budgets, and policies regarding data privacy and software procurement.
Qualification:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field.
- MBA (preferred).
- Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CISSP, ITIL, AWS/Oracle) are preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 15 years of progressively responsible IT experience.
- At least 8 years in a senior leadership role.
- Experience implementing large ERP systems and digital transformation in large organizations.
General Terms and Conditions:
- 3-year contract (extendable based on performance).
- All positions are based in Karachi.
