JOB OPPORTUNITIES ON CONTRACT BASIS
Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) a leading public utility company in Pakistan, is an equal opportunity employer. LESCO has an existing geographical area of Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupura, Nankana Districts. The company is seeking applications from eligible candidates through an Open Testing Service (OTS) for the following posts on a contract basis with a lump-sum pay package.
Master's degree or equivalent or 4 years honors degree with at least 50% marks in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Software Engineering from HEC recognized university.

The applicants are advised to fill correct information (personal, academic, and experience) in the application form. Any change after submission of the application will not be accepted.
INSTRUCTIONS AND GENERAL CONDITIONS
All appointments shall be purely on an open contract with 6 months probation period at market-based lump-sum package, non-pensionable, with no long-term benefits and shall not be converted into permanent positions at a later stage.
M/s Open Testing Service (OTS) will charge 50% of fee openly from applicant & rest of 50% shall be paid by LESCO. Therefore, each applicant shall pay Rs. 80/- to M/s Open Testing Service (OTS).
Only those candidates who have completed their degree are eligible to apply. Candidates to whom final result card has not been issued will not be entertained. Candidates with Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) will be evaluated as per HEC standard chart available on HEC website.
Candidates already serving in Government/Semi-Government Organizations/Autonomous Bodies/SOEs should apply through a proper channel. An advance copy of the application form may be forwarded without obtaining NOC. The candidate will not be allowed to appear in the interview if he fails to produce NOC from concerned department.
Computing professionals having a valid registration with PEC will be given preference. However, the requirement to have a PEC registration is not mandatory.
For specific certifications and relevant experience of the candidate with LESCO will be given an advantage in view of institutional memory and knowledge of LESCO business.

Candidates applying for more than one post must apply separately for each post.
Minimum passing marks in the written test will be 50%.
Only qualified candidates meeting with eligibility criteria mentioned against each post will be allowed to appear in the Written Test/Interview. Merely passing the written test does not qualify any candidate for employment.
Selected candidates can be posted anywhere under the jurisdiction of LESCO as per the requirement of the company.
LESCO reserves the right to decrease/increase the number of posts and cancel the entire recruitment process at any stage without assigning any reason.
Dismissed/screened out employees of any organization or having a criminal record will not be eligible to apply.
Concealment or misrepresentation of facts at any stage will lead to the disqualification of a candidate from the current recruitment and from all types of tests/exams to be conducted by the LESCO for recruitment in the future. All academic certificates/degrees, domicile, and police verification shall be verified from respective issuing authority. In case of bogus/fake submission of documents, the employment will be withdrawn ab-initio and the salaries paid will be recovered from the employee.
Any query raised by the applicant at any stage may be resolved at the level of M/s OTS. LESCO will have no liability whatsoever on LESCO. No T.A/D.A will be paid for the Written Test/Interview.
Incomplete applications and the applications received after the due date will not be considered. Late submission of applications by Courier Service will have no binding upon LESCO and the Testing Agency.

Test fee will be charged to candidates @ Rs. 80/-. Test fee shall be paid in any branch of BANK ALFALAH, HBL, UBL or ABL on the prescribed Bank Challan downloadable from website: www.ots.org.pk
Candidates are required to send a complete prescribed application form along with attested copies of all educational documents, domicile certificate, CNIC and other documents/experience certificates, two recent passport-size photographs as well as the original fee challan through courier service/Pakistan post to the:
Manager Operation, Open Testing Service Office No. 1, Central Avenue, Bahria Town Phase-VI, ISLAMABAD.
