CHIEF SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT OFFICER AT THE LAHORE ELECTRIC SUPPLY COMPANY (LESCO)
The Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO), being a State-Owned Enterprise (SOE) is operating a power distribution network and supplies electricity to more than 6.88 million valued consumers in the approved geographic territory of Lahore, Okara, Kasur, Sheikhupura and Nankana.

LESCO is offering qualified and experienced professionals with an opportunity to apply for the position of Chief Supply Chain Management Officer. This position strategically leads and directs the Supply Chain Management function at LESCO; Contributes in the development of Supply Chain strategy; Oversees implementation of Supply Chain strategy aligned with current and long-term organizational goals and provides supply chain thought leadership to LESCO on strategic organizational initiatives.

Job Description:

• Develop LESCO supply chain strategy based on organizational vision, strategic goals and direction from CEO and Board Committee.
• Manage procurement team to perform their duties as per PPRA rules and LESCO procurement practices and agreed goals.
• Lead all procurement tasks for equipment, supplies, and services necessary for LESCO to succeed in its business.
• Manage teams responsible for all Inventory control and logistics of LESCO for efficient and cost-effective distribution of equipment, supplies, etc., to be delivered to teams of other departments.
• Ensure effective utilization of the ERP system of LESCO for optimal supply chain execution.
• Coordinate with other department heads to maximize effectiveness of supply chain and procurement functions.
• Update supply chain framework periodically and validate its alignment with internal business requirements and external (macro-economic) dynamics.

Qualification and Experience:

• Master Degree in management sciences (MBA/MS) preferably Masters in Supply Chain Management/Operations Research or in a related field from a local/foreign university recognized by HEC.
• Certifications/courses on supply chain management from institutions of high repute (national/international) will be a strong plus.
• Minimum post qualification relevant experience of 15 years which includes at least 5 years' experience at Senior Level position in a large size private or government sector organization.
• Engaged in procurement of large inventories for its operations.

Remuneration & Contract Period:

• Market-based competitive salary package commensurate with qualifications and experience of candidate to be decided by BOD at the time of selection.
• The initial contract shall be for a period of three (3) years, extendable on satisfactory performance with annual performance evaluation to be conducted by the Board of Directors, LESCO against agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) as detailed in the contractual arrangement and revisited from time to time.
• Age Limit: Up to 57 years at the time of closing date of advertisement.

f. Detailed separate list of experience along with experience letter/certificate;
g. Reference letter;
h. Declaration for their fitness/eligibility to act as CSCMO as per Fit & proper Criteria of SOE Act, 2023 on Rs. 100/- non judicial stamp paper as per prescribed format given on LESCO website;
i. Candidates working in Govt. /Semi Govt./Autonomous public organizations are required to apply through proper channel along with NOC of their department issued on its letter head.
