Position
1. Department Head - Treasury Back-Office (OG-SCDP-THBO/AVP-I/SVP-I)
- Location: Karachi
- Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee end-to-end treasury back-office operations, including trade processing, settlements, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Possess thorough knowledge of treasury products, money market, derivatives, securities, and forex transactions.
- Establish and monitor operational risks with robust controls.
- Oversee timely trade validation and reconciliation, ensuring swift and accurate processing of treasury transactions.
- Ensure adherence to internal standards, guidelines, and international best practices.
- Stay updated with regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with SBP (State Bank of Pakistan) rules, FE (Foreign Exchange) regulations, and other relevant laws.
- Manage information technology and digital systems related to treasury operations, ensuring operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement process improvements, automation initiatives, and closing houses.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative and customer-centric culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Maintain effective relationships with regulatory requirements (e.g., SBP, auditors).
- Handle and resolve complex issues related to SWIFT messages and equity settlements.
- Provide data-driven insights to senior management.
- Qualification:
- Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an HEC (Higher Education Commission) recognized local or foreign university.
- Strong background in treasury operations, risk management, and compliance.
- Age: Up to 55 years as of March 30, 2025.
- Experience: Minimum 08-10 years of banking experience, with at least 4-6 years in a similar role, handling treasury instruments and team management.
2. Unit Head - Remittance (OG-SCDP-RU/AVP-I/SVP-I)
- Location: Karachi
- Responsibilities:
- Manage CRU (Central Remittance Unit) and HRU (Home Remittance Unit) operations related to inward/outward remittances, settlements, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Ideal candidate will drive operational effectiveness, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and lead a high-performing team to enhance remittance service delivery.
- Oversee and manage CRU and HRU for efficient remittance processing.
- Ensure operational effectiveness and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and ensure SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) to standardize and streamline transaction processing and minimize operational risks.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of remittance professionals, promoting continuous improvement.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, correspondent banks, and financial institutions.
- Provide data-driven insights to senior management.
- Qualification:
- Bachelor's or equivalent degree from an HEC recognized local or foreign university.
- Strong knowledge of compliance and financial laws.
- Age: Up to 55 years as of March 30, 2025.
- Experience: Minimum 08-10 years of banking experience, with 4-6 years in a similar role.
