Director Planning and Development (BPS-19 & 20) initially on contract and likely to be on regular pay roll as per university rules

Qualification: First class in B.E.(Civil) / MBA in a relevant field (e.g. Planning, Management and Finance) degree awarded after 16-years of education or equivalent qualification(s) from HEC recognized University / Institution, with no 3rd division in the academic career. <br> Experience: At-least 17-years experience in post BPS-17 or equivalent to BPS-17 and above in relevant field in a University/ Higher degree awarding Institute/ Government/Semi-government/Autonomous body <br> OR <br> 10-years experience in post BPS-17 or equivalent to BPS-17 and above in relevant field in a University/ Higher degree awarding Institute/ Government/Semi-government/ Autonomous body. (preferably in the public sector). <br> The candidate shall be well versed in planning, project management and understanding financial management, audit related matters, civil engineering works, SPPRA rules & regulations of procurement/ procedures for tendering, evaluation reports, execution, monitoring etc, and preparation of PC-I. <br> Note: The candidate(s) possessing required 17-years experience will be considered in BPS-20 and candidates possessing 10-years experience will be considered in BPS-19. <br> Responsibilities: <br> * Developing and implementing strategic plans for the university's development. <br> * Overseeing the preparation of development projects, schemes, and proposals. <br> * Securing funding for projects from relevant authorities. <br> * Managing the university's annual work plans and cash flow. <br> * Monitoring and evaluating the progress of ongoing development projects. <br> * Liaising with government bodies, including HEC, for approvals and support. <br> * Fostering collaborations with other universities and organizations. <br> * Compiling the Public Sector Development Program (PSDP). <br> * Annual Development program (ADP). <br> * Appraising development proposals and schemes. <br> * Preparing and submitting progress reports to the university administration.
