|
The Chief Actuary of Insurance Company will be responsible for leading the actuarial function within insurance company, providing expert advice on financial cost of risk and its management, pricing, and product development. The Chief Actuary will play a key role in shaping the company's strategic direction, ensuring profitability, and managing risks effectively across various insurance lines.

* Strategic & Actuarial Leadership:

* Contribute to the overall business strategy by providing actuarial insights and advice on product performance, market trends, and pricing strategies.

* Work closely with senior management to assess the viability and profitability of new ventures, products, and business expansion.
|
|
—
|
* Lead and manage the actuarial team within the company, providing direction, guidance, and mentorship to actuarial staff.
|
|
—
|
* Pricing, Product Development & Risk Management:
|
|
—
|
* Oversee the development of pricing models for all insurance products, ensuring they are actuarially sound, competitive, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
|
|
—
|
* Identify, assess, measure, and manage insurance-related risks and recommend pricing strategies for various products.
|
|
—
|
* Leverage data analytics tools and techniques to improve pricing models, risk assessments, and claims predictions.
|
|
—
|
* Conduct stress testing and scenario analysis for various risk factors.
|
|
—
|
* Oversee the company's reinsurance arrangements, including pricing, structure, and strategy, to ensure adequate protection against risks.
|
|
—
|
* Develop relationships with reinsurance partners and brokers to optimize the company's risk-sharing arrangements.
|
|
—
|
* Regulatory Compliance:
|
|

|
* Ensure the company's actuarial practices comply with the regulations set by the SECP and other relevant bodies.
|
|
—
|
* Keep abreast of changes in actuarial and insurance regulation.
|
|
—
|
* Team Development & People Management:
|
|
—
|
* Attract, lead, motivate, and develop the actuarial team to achieve strategic and operational goals.
|

—
|
* Promote Diversity and Inclusion, foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the organization.

* Stakeholder Communication & Operational Excellence:

* Communicate actuarial findings, insights, and recommendations to the CEO, Board, and other key stakeholders clearly and effectively.

* Optimize operational efficiency to deliver superior results, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
