PORT QASIM AUTHORITY
APPOINTMENT OF PROJECT STAFF – DREDGING WORKS
The Port Qasim Authority, under the Ministry of Maritime Affairs, seeks applications from motivated and qualified professionals for the following positions on a 2-year contract basis (extendable) in Karachi:
1. Project Officer (01 Post)
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Maritime, Hydrography, Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Preference for those with hydrographic/dredging diplomas. Requires proficiency in MS Office, project management, and data reporting.
- Age Limit: Up to 55 years.
2. Project Hydrographic Officer (01 Post)
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Maritime, Hydrography, or a related field.
- Experience: Expertise in Hypack/Hysweep software, data acquisition, and dredging surveys. Fresh graduates or Ex-Officers from the National Hydrographic Office may apply.
- Age Limit: Up to 40 years.
3. Project Accountant (01 Post)
- Education: Master’s/Bachelor’s (16 years) in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, or MBA Finance.
- Experience: 7+ years in accounting, auditing, and tax compliance.
- Age Limit: Up to 35 years.
4. Project Duty Officer (03 Posts)
- Education: Diploma/Certification in Maritime-related fields.
- Experience: 5+ years in VTS, port control, or dredging projects. Fitness for day/night shift work is required.
- Age Limit: Up to 35 years.
