(ADMISSION NOTICE)
- INVITATION FOR ADMISSIONS AGAINST RESERVED SEATS OF BALOCHISTAN IN BACHELORS OF ENGINEERING (B.E) FOR DIFFERENT ENGINEERING
- UNIVERSITIES/COLLEGES OF THE COUNTRY (SESSION 2022-23) Applications are invited through online portal i.e. www.chte.gob.pk or portal.chte.gob.pk from the local/domicile candidates of Balochistan against (96) reserve seats in Bachelors of Engineering (B.E) in various Engineering Universities/Colleges of sister provinces. The interested candidates must have passed their F.Sc (Pre-Engineering/ICS)/DAE Annual Examination 2022 or earlier up to Annual Examinations of previous three (03) years with at least 60% marks from any recognized board of intermediate and secondary education in Pakistan or any foreign country. The distribution of these (96) reserved seats as per the admission policy is as under:
- 1) Seven seats are reserved for open merit.
- 2) One seat is reserved for Diploma in Associate Engineering (DAE), on provincial merit
- basis in UET Lahore.
- 3) 5% quota is reserved for Minorities on provincial merit basis. 4) One seat is reserved for female candidates on provincial merit basis. 5) 2% quota is reserved for Physically Handy Caped (disabled) candidates on provincial merit basis.
- 6) One seat is reserved for the employees of colleges, higher and technical education department and colleges of technology, Balochistan.
- 7) Eighty seats are reserved for all 33 Districts of Balochistan on Districts wise merit.
- Total Seats (96) Merit Criteria a) Candidates should not be more than 22 years of age. b) The candidates who have obtained marks less than 60% in F.Sc or Equivalent exam are not eligible. c) Candidate will require at least 50% Marks in the Entry Test i.e. 50 Marks out of 100 Marks. d) Total Weightage of F.Sc (Pre- Engg/ICS)/DAE/Equivalent) marks will be 50%.e) The
- Candidates who have passed their exams other than Balochistan province, 10 marks will be deducted from his/her matriculation marks & 20 marks will be deducted from his/her F.Sc (Pre-Engg/ICS)/DAE/ Equivalent. f) 5 additional marks for Hafiz-e-Quran candidate. g) 1% marks will be deducted from the total marks of those candidates who have passed their F.Sc (Pre-Engg/ICS)/DAE Equivalent, with Additional Mathematics and the same will be applicable for each gape/year.h) All selection will be made according to admission policy which is mention in prospectus. i)

- Only shortlisted candidates will be required to submit their documents in hard. In case of submission of fake documents, the application/nomination will be rejected at any stage. Since, the application form is a legal document, any wrong information provided therein or over-writing or tampering in any other way is illegal and may results in outright rejection of form without any notice and such candidates will be prosecuted under criminal law, and consequently, they will be debarred for a period of 3 years for applying against any reserved seats through Directorate of Colleges. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:-
- 1. Candidates will apply through online portal i.e. www.chte.gob.pk or portal.chte.gob.pk.
- 2. The prospectus and video "How to apply" is available at the above mentioned website.
- 3. Fill the form carefully. After submission of form candidates could not change their priorities.
- 4. Challan slip (treasury receipt) bearing account number can be downloaded from the given website, where candidates have to submit fee Rs.1000/- (One Thousand Rupees) in any branch of UBL, before applying for online admission within the CLOSING DATE from 25th February to 25th March 2023. No application will be accepted after the closing date.
- 5. It will be mandatory for the candidates to bring original CNIC, original paid challan slip (treasury receipt) and downloaded copy of admission certificate/online slip with thumb impression, recent passport size picture and signature, at the time of Entry Test, to avoid any inconvenience at the examination center.
- 6. The shortlisted candidates will have to get verified their Local Certificates from the concerned district's Deputy Commissioner, before the interview and present to the interview panel.
- 7. The candidates who are Physically Handy Caped (Disabled), belong to Minority and Rural/Urban areas will be required to submit the certificate from concerned district's Deputy Commissioner.
- 8. If the required documents are missing at the time of interview, the interview penal can either accept or reject the candidate keeping in view the condition of the case as per the policy.
