- The Government of Balochistan is looking for the positionof Vice ChancellorSardar Bahadur Khan Women University Quetta. The Government of Balochistan, Colleges, Higher & Technical Education Department, is searching for individuals of exceptional Integrity, Humility and Intellectual vision for the position of Vice ChancellorofSardar Bahadur Khan Women University (SBKWU) Quetta, possessingthe required qualification and experience as under: Essential Qualification & Experience:(a) Qualification: For a comprehensive university, PhD in any discipline and good academic record. (b)Research: Excellent research publication record that, at a minimum, meet the criteria for appointment as a Professor in the university with a minimum of 20peer reviewedHEC recognized publications.Preference would be given to journals indexed in the HRJS system of HEC (https://hjrs.hec.gov.pk) (c) Experience: Experience of at least 20 years of teaching/research in any HEC-recognized university. At least five years of administrative experience (after completion of PhD) in the field of higher education. The candidates with experience of executing research projects, senior supervisory/leadership, including the Chairperson, Dean, Pro-VC, quality assurance, international linkages etc.. with a record of progressive responsibility and authority. (d) A separate strategic plan not more than 800 words for the institution for which they apply be attached with the application. Terms & Conditions:- (a). Tenure:
- Three years (Non-renewable) as per provisions of the Balochistan Universities Act 2022 (b).Age: Not more than (65) sixty-five years till the closing date of submission of applications; (c).Pay PackageHEC approved pay package Closing date & receipt of applications:- Eligible candidates are invited to apply on plain paper with complete contact information (Cell/Phone Number, Fax, Email etc).
