- Position: Financial Analyst - Tax Reform Unit (One Position)
- Educational Qualification & Experience:
- Master's degree in Economics or a related field from a HEC recognized University.
- Minimum of 5 years professional experience with at least 1 year in economic research, particularly in tax revenue modeling and forecasting.
- Experience in tax administration/policy is advantageous.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in report writing and communication.
- Computer literacy (MS Office) and proficiency in statistical software for economic research.
- Knowledge of the tax policy and regulatory system in Sindh.
- Fluency in Urdu, Sindhi, and English (written and oral).
- Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years.
- Domicile: Sindh Province.
- Job Description:
- Monitoring tax revenue collection and reporting trends.
- Liaising between tax collecting agencies, researchers, and research institutions.
- Providing statistical support for research.
- Staying updated on international best practices in tax research.
- Assisting in reviewing research reports.
- Organizing briefing sessions and workshops.
- Drafting Terms of References for core and specialized research.
- Reviewing tax research from provincial tax collecting agencies.
- Developing Requests for Proposals.
- Ensuring proper documentation for candidate selection.
- Writing periodic reports.
- Performing other related tasks.
