Position
- Investment Specialist (Sindh Fund Management House) (One Position)
Education: Must possess at least one of the following qualifications:
- CA Finalist/ACCA/ACMA
- Masters in Accounting or Finance from a Higher Education Commission (HEC) recognized university
Experience:
A minimum of 5 years of working experience in a Chartered Accountancy firm, with expertise in managing finance sector audit and/or investment accounting within the financial services industry. Relevant experience in the financial services sector includes banks, insurance companies, non-banking financial institutions, brokerage houses, investment firms, and asset management companies. Experience gained in a Chartered Accountancy firm will be considered relevant.
Age Limit: Not exceeding 45 years.
Job Description
- Experience in financial reporting in accordance with international accounting standards and International Financial Reporting Standards.
- Expertise in compiling financial and statistical data related reports and the ability to explain such reports to stakeholders.
- Considerable knowledge of budgetary principles and practices.
- Strong computer skills, including extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Developing internal reporting requirements that are in accordance with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP).
- Compilation of secretarial requirements with SECP and other regulatory authorities.
- Expertise in preparing forecast financial statements.
- Carry out liquidity analysis and ensure adequate cash flow to meet requirements.
Important Notes
- The appointment will be on a contract basis for an initial period of three (3) years, which may be extended for an additional period of three (3) years, subject to satisfactory performance.
- A competitive, market-based salary package will be offered to the successful candidate.
