The Finance Department, Government of Sindh, invites applications from eligible candidates (Pakistani citizens) for the following position on a purely contract basis:
Position: Senior Financial Analyst (One Position)
Educational Qualification and Experience:
- Master's degree or equivalent in Commerce/Economics/Business Administration (Finance) from an HEC recognized university.
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience in the public/private sector, experience related to governance will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong reporting, scanning, and effective communication skills.
- Experience in budgetary data of departments.
- Computer literate (MS Office, MS Excel (advanced level)).
- Skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Age limit: Not more than 35 years.
Job Description:
The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for:
- Assisting the Chief Financial Manager (FFM).
- Being the focal person for:
- Assisting in the preparation of budgets for MTBF pilot departments and their sub-spending units.
- Assisting MTBF line departments in preparing MTBF budget proposals and conducting workshops for officials/DDOs.
- Preparing MTBF budget statements.
- Providing practical support to MTBF line departments officials/DDOs.
- Providing budgetary data experience of MTBF line departments
- Assisting ERU and the Finance Department for the overall budget of MTBF departments.
- Managing the team of financial analysts to complete the assigned tasks.
- Assisting the Chief Financial Manager in completing any other assigned tasks.
General Instructions:
- The appointment will initially be for a period of two (02) years on a purely contract basis, which may be further extended on an annual basis subject to satisfactory performance.
- Applicants must possess a domicile/PRC (Form D) of Sindh province.
- A competitive, market-based salary package will be offered to the successful candidate.
